Glass is a material over 5,000 years old. And yet, the Corning company continues to find innovative new ways to modify and use this ancient material, from fiber optical cables the thickness of a single strand of hair, to the Gorilla Glass on mobile phones.
The IDE Center will host Jeff Evenson, the Chief Strategy Officer of Corning, to talk about the endless opportunities to innovate with glass. He will talk about amazing materials, business strategies, and the innovative environment at Corning that allows the company to continue finding breakthroughs from glass.
